Damien Hirst’s art

controversy

Much of his work deals with mortality, the groteque, and art itself. Hirst’s work borders taxidermy, plays with consumerism, and seeks to shock. With death being an important theme to many of Hirst’s works, his most famous works are the series of preserved dead animals in formaldehyde.
